Welcome to Day 74 of the 90-Day Comeback Challenge! We now have just under 20% to go, and if you’ve ever run a marathon or pushed yourself to the limit in any other way, you know that this is the really tough part. That’s why today is all about: Sacrifices. My thoughts on them, in this article.

Making Sacrifices – What It Means

You probably know the feeling: whether in business, sports, or personal goals, there comes a point when things get really tough. The first steps are usually relatively easy, but then comes that moment when it gets really hard. In a marathon, it’s those last few kilometers, in the gym, it’s the final reps, and in diets, it’s the last few days. In my case, the biggest sacrifices I have to make are time with family, friends, sports, hobbies, and sometimes even my health.

Is It Worth It?

You need to be honest with yourself here: are the sacrifices you’re making worth it? Are you pushing through, or do you need to take a break to catch your breath? Just like on an airplane when the oxygen masks come down, sometimes you need to pause, breathe, and refocus. Saturday is that day for me when I put on the oxygen mask, take a short break, and then move forward with renewed energy.

Winners Never Give Up

One thing is absolutely clear: giving up is not an option. Winners win because they cross the finish line. Only those who don’t give up can emerge as winners in the end. This applies to any goal you’re pursuing. So keep going, even when it gets tough. It’s the moment when you’re most challenged that will ultimately lead you to your success.

Conclusion

If you’re at a point where you’re unsure whether to keep going, let me tell you: stick with it! You will succeed if you persevere.

Enjoy your Saturday, take the time you need, and we’ll see each other tomorrow with a very special topic.
