On Day 41 of the 90-Day Comeback Challenge, we dive deeper into product development. How do you go from the skateboard – the MVP – to the next step, until eventually you have a car? Find out my approach in this article.

From Skateboard to Scooter: The Evolution of Your MVP

You’ve developed your first MVP – your “skateboard.” Now it’s time to take the next steps. How do you move from the skateboard to the scooter, from the scooter to the bicycle, and so on?

Testing the Market and Gathering Feedback

A central aspect of developing an MVP is market testing. You need to create a product that meets market needs. Test your product and gather feedback. Does it work? Do you have initial customers? Ideally, people will embrace your product enthusiastically, but sometimes it’s not that easy, especially in a bearish market like we had in June.

It’s crucial to talk to your customers. What do they want? What issues do they have with your product? This feedback helps you improve your MVP further.

Improving the Onramp and Other Features

One major feedback we received was that the onramp wasn’t simple enough. People wanted to invest in the bundles but didn’t know how to get in. That’s why we developed a new, simple onramp, allowing people to invest directly with euros or dollars.

Especially now, with prices dropping another 5%, it’s an ideal time to buy the dip. Our app makes this super easy, based on user feedback.

The MVP Improvement Pyramid

Remember the MVP improvement pyramid: user experience, design, and functionality. You should constantly review and improve all these aspects. We’ve added more coins and bundles, improved the customizing of bundles, and adjusted the app to include features like the Trading View.

As a CEO or decision-maker, you must continuously reflect: How does your product look? What improvements are necessary? Work on these optimizations step by step.

Customer Feedback and Continuous Improvement

We’ve continuously spoken with our customers and integrated their feedback. Tax optimizations, better payment methods for different regions, improvements in user experience and design – these are all areas we are constantly developing.

This iterative process takes you from the skateboard to the scooter, to the bicycle, to the motorcycle, and so on. Apply these steps for yourself as well.
