Welcome to Day 63 of the 90-Day Comeback Challenge. After talking about short-term marketing strategies last week, I’m now introducing my absolute No. 1 long-term marketing strategy. Find out what this strategy is and what tips & tricks I have for it in this article.
Why Content Marketing is So Powerful
Content marketing is no secret. Many of today’s biggest companies are actually content creators. Whether internationally or nationally, content is king. Take Mr. Beast, for example, who uses his content to promote his Feastable Bars. Or Red Bull, the prime example, which uses extreme sports content to promote Red Bull cans. This strategy works extremely well and is successful in the long term.
The Start is Crucial
One important takeaway from my 90-day challenge is that you should start marketing on the first day of building your business. I remember back to my beginnings 20 years ago when I created a lot of content about kitesurfing, sports, and fitness. Everything was different back then, with much being done through companies. Today, you can do everything yourself via YouTube and social media.
I wrote books like “Kitesurf Dictionary,” “25 Stories for My Younger Self” “Time Horizon Principle,” and now “The Value Formula” These books provide extremely good content and have become bestsellers. The same applies to my YouTube content, like the crypto crash courses, which are all available for free and are extremely valuable.
From Content to Brand
From this point, you build your brand. You tell your story and build an audience on which you establish your business. This is one of the most important long-term strategies for me. It’s crucial to start small and niche and then gradually expand.
